This project involved capturing of the assets of Bangalore Electricity supplies company (BESCOM) covering an area of 1500 Sq.km. The facilities were mapped on to the vectors generated from aerial photograph that was used as the Base map. Field survey for the entire area was conducted and Facilities such as Feeders, Distribution transformers, Overhead service lines, Power and station transformers in the substation, meters etc., were captured. The database from external sources were linked to the facilities after mapping. The outputs were presented in FACILPLUS software for spatial and a spatial querying.
